This is a Bishnupur katan silk blue colour cord silk saree with hand embroidered kantha work. Outer half of the saree and the pallu has intricate kantha work and the interior half of the saree is hand woven small stripe design. This saree comes with a matching running blouse piece of 85 cm. The blouse piece also has kantha work at the borders. Natural silk fabric makes this saree comfortable and skin friendly. Kantha Stitch is without doubt one of the oldest type of hand embroidery of eastern India, specially in Bengal.
